“Rise now and let your voice be heard.”
— Robin Lynn
If there is only one thing that Robin Lynn can pass along to her clients, it’s that healing is a process that takes heart, dedication, and passion.
“So many healers out there cycle this belief that healing will bring some sort of closure or arrival point to old wounds, that we’ll put the past behind us forever never to reflect upon it again… but that’s simply not true. Healing is the process of understanding that things don’t ever leave us. It’s learning how to be empowered by our own story, to honor the natural flow of its’ release. And when the old wound’s surface, we will have no choice but to rise and let our voice be heard because we will willingly honor our emotions and give ourselves the proper support and space to allow it to move as it needs to. Your healing story is a spiral that deepens with time”
As a loving wife, mother of 3 beautiful boys, healer, and author-in-progress, Robin thrives on helping those around her. Before she ever stepped into the role of mommy, she was just a sensitive kid trying desperately to bury the evidence of her “too- muchness”.
“I didn’t fit in, anywhere. I struggled in school, I couldn’t find satisfaction in the traditional workplace setting. Eventually, I turned to toxic habits in order to cope. I was depressed, angry, and tired of trying to understand why I couldn’t ‘just be happy’ like the others.”
Robin obtained her Bachelor’s of Social Work in 2005 at La Salle University and her Master’s of Counseling at Wilmington University in 2009. She spent years in the counseling/ social work field but still felt unsatisfied in her career. In 2010, she achieved her certification in Hypnotherapy and began working with clients to heal stress, anxiety, weight issues and much more. She also went on to receive certifications in Past- Life Regression and HypnoBirthing.
“The more I dug into the world of alternative healing, the more the evidence of healing appeared, for my clients and for myself.”
After working for 7 years with hypnosis and alternative healing techniques, Robin quickly realized there were more people in need of healing that she could not reach with Hypnotherapy alone.
“I decided to take on 3 different type of mentorship programs. There was much more to do to meet the needs of my clients and I wasn’t giving up until I figured it out.”
Robin re-visited her love for working with children and families which unwrapped a whole new level of work.
“It hit me one day, brought me to my knees with tears in my eyes. I saw myself in the hearts of moms who were depleted. I felt the yearning to teach what I’ve coined, ‘Mommy Medicine‘. Moms are the healing their child needs, yet the wailing cries of frustrated exhaustion prevent mom from accessing this in its entirety. I examined the societal expectations of parenting (local and global) and realized how difficult it is to fulfill all the expectations of mothering. I knew there had to be a better way.”
“I took time to reflect on my own children. I saw them, fists full of fire and misunderstanding in their eyes. I was toting them to doctors, therapists, and getting little to no guidance. Their needs were undefined in the medical world…
I remembered myself as a child, I remembered feeling like an outcast, a ‘weirdo’. I remember being bully’ed for my quirks. I remembered why I tried so desperately to hide away, I remember, my whole life … not fitting in….
and I finally put it all together.
I too am a highly sensitive [child], an empathic person who “feels too much”. I experience extreme discomfort to overstimulating sensory input. My emotions, my feelings, my memories, they shape the way I respond to stress and overwhelm. Every last piece of my story, of my purpose, of my healing, was right in the hands of my child.
There was never going to be a doctor, or a diagnosis, or a specific medical disorder, because this is no disease. We are sensation driven beings living in a world not built for our needs.
Not only was I the tired mom crying out desperately for help and understanding, but I was the highly sensitive child seeking out someone to make sense of my highly sensitive nature…. and I knew exactly what to do.”
“I am here, calling you in, asking your awareness.
You are not broken.
Your child is not broken.
You are meant to thrive, to work together,
to uncover your medicine
to be the healing spark your child needs.”
I am Robin and I am the mommy healer.
How It Works
Robin uses a combination of techniques, from her formal education in counseling to highly trained spiritual guidance. “This work requires a variety of different tools. I’ve spent a lifetime gathering this knowledge and I am so pleased to be able to customize healing based on each client’s needs.”
We begin our work together through the Zoom app or an in-office session. Together, we sit with your family and identify the areas of concern (anxiety, stress, sleep, anger, and/ or depression are among the target issues we’ll work through) We identify the goals, build rapport, and create a safe place for you AND your child to express their story in a way that helps everyone feel accepted, received, validated and understood.
I look forward to working with you on your goals and following your unique journey on this path to understanding your sensitive nature.
*Robin does not guarantee success. The parameters, information, and guidance for ultimate healing can be staged by the facilitator, healing itself lies in the hands of the client.
